Anniversary

Happy 8th Wedding Anniversary to my partner, my consort, my better half!

In life, we hope and pray for a lot of things. As a young girl, I always knew I was meant to be a wife and mother. I would tell anyone who would listen that by the time I was 30, I would be married with kids. I had my first son at 22, and my second at 28. I was 31 when we finally said "I do", but it was almost as if all those hopes and dreams as a little girl came true.

I met my husband as a teenager, which seems like a million years ago. I didn't know then that he would be my person but how incredible that he was put in my life so early on and that even after all the other paths we chose, we wound up together. I'm so very thankful for the foundation we built over many years before becoming a couple and eventually married.

Life isn't always perfect, this I know, but I do believe I found the perfect person for me. After 16 years together and eight married, we still like each other on most days and have an abundance of love. Being on this adventure called life can sometimes be immense, unbearable, and devastating but being on it with him keeps things exhilarating and intoxicating! I love you MCZ, now and forever.
